The FPV UK Certificate of Competency: Practical is a practical achievement for members who want to improve their practical know-how and flying skills. It is entirely optional and is done for the member’s own pleasure and sense of achievement – and to improve their confidence.
To achieve the certificate, the member must be able to safely and competently prepare and fly their aircraft through a number or prescribed manoeuvres.
Members can achieve the Certificate of Competency: Practical through their own individual practice, with or without help from a local mentor, followed by an assessment with an FPV UK examiner. Or they can attend a training course with an FPV UK approved training organisation.
When completed, the member’s membership certificate and membership card will show that they have achieved the Certificate of Competency: Practical.
If you represent a training provider and you would like to offer this training course please get in touch here.
