FPV UK issued with new Article 16 Operational Authorisation for drone and model aircraft flying

Members can continue flying with the extra Article 16 freedoms

The CAA has today issued FPV UK with its fifth Article 16 Operational Authorisation for drone and model aircraft flying.

This version is valid from today 22/12/2022, until the end of next year – 31/12/2023.

There are no significant changes to report – this is a continuation of the Article 16 provisions for our members. This means our more than 7,000 members can continue to fly their drones and model aircraft with the extra freedoms that Article 16 offers.
