Paid Drone Pilot Jobs and Opportunities for FPV UK Members

FPV UK has partnered with Drone Assisted – Get paid for flying with Drone Assisted

Your flying skills could be the start of your next paid assignment. Drone Assisted is inviting FPV UK pilots to join its growing UK network and put their experience to work for businesses that need professional drone services.

Join the pilot network

Meet Drone Assisted

Drone Assisted connects businesses with independent drone pilots for surveys, inspections, aerial imagery and specialist data capture. It brings the customer brief, pilot matching and delivery process together, helping clients find the right capability for the job.

The network serves organisations across property, insurance, construction and other commercial sectors. A customer may need a clear view of a damaged roof, a record of progress on a building site or imagery from several properties in different parts of the country. Drone Assisted assesses the requirement and matches it with suitable pilot capability.

For pilots, that means a way to access commercial opportunities through a managed network. You bring your flying skills, equipment and local knowledge; Drone Assisted manages the customer relationship and coordinates the assignment.

Meet Drone Assisted.

What could you be flying for

The work is varied, and the right assignment depends on your experience and equipment. Opportunities can include:

  • Roof and building inspections, capturing photographs that help property owners and professionals assess visible condition.
  • Insurance evidence, providing imagery to support claims teams and loss adjusters.
  • Construction progress, recording how a site changes over time.
  • Surveying and mapping, collecting aerial data where the required equipment and expertise are available.
  • Thermal inspection and aerial media, matching specialist sensors or filming skills to the customer’s brief.

A roof inspection is a good example of how useful a well planned flight can be. Clear overview photographs and closer views of agreed areas can give a roofer, surveyor or property manager the evidence they need for their next step. The pilot’s role is to deliver the agreed capture; any specialist assessment must be separately scoped.

From joining the network to completing a job

1 Create your pilot profile

Tell Drone Assisted where you operate, what you fly and the work you can undertake. Include your equipment, experience and relevant credentials so the team can assess your application.

2 Review suitable assignments

When work is offered, review the location, brief, deliverables and payout. Decide whether it fits your capabilities, availability and travel costs. You choose which assignments to accept.

3 Fly and deliver the brief

Plan the operation, complete the work safely and submit the agreed imagery or data. Drone Assisted reviews the outputs against the brief and manages delivery to the customer.

Know the payout before you accept

Registration is free, with no pilot membership fee or subscription. Your payout is shown before you accept an assignment. Once the work has been completed satisfactorily and the agreed deliverables submitted, payment is processed under the Pilot Contractor Agreement.

Drone Assisted handles the end customer’s payment and commercial relationship. Pilots work as independent contractors, with the freedom to accept or decline offered jobs. Joining does not guarantee work or a particular income; availability depends on demand, location and suitable capability.

Experienced commercially or ready for the next step

If you already carry out commercial drone work, tell Drone Assisted about your coverage area and specialist skills. If you are considering your first commercial assignment, use the application and pilot guide to understand what you need to have in place.

Before taking work, your registration, insurance, competence, equipment and any relevant authorisations need to suit the assignment. An FPV background can be a useful starting point, but each job has its own capture and operating requirements. Give a clear account of what you can do so the team can assess where you fit.

FPV UK pilots can help build the network

Commercial drone work starts with a practical need on the ground and a pilot who can deliver the right result. If you want to put your flying skills to work, make yourself available for suitable assignments and get paid for completing them, now is a good time to introduce yourself.

Join Drone Assisted through the FPV UK application link. Tell the team where you fly and what you can offer, and take the next step towards your next paid flight.
